The morning is upon us, as the town of ''Aleste'' is preparing for the annual ritual of ''Enlightenment.''A process in which a young girl moves into the world of civilization to become a woman.
''Vivi,'' barges through the doors dressed in a silk gown. Her ocean blue eyes pierce at Junibee.
"The moment we've been preparing for all your life has finally arrived. My dear, Junibee... You're just as beautiful as the day I found you.
Junibee smirks at Vivi with her flowing brown hair covering her face. Vivi brushes Junibee's hair out the way and places her hand on her cheek.
"Finish getting ready, and I will meet you at the ''Main Hall'' after I take care of a few things.
[[Get Ready.]]

<source src="Assets/intro.mp3"></audio>Junibee walks down a desolated hallway where portraits of previous mentors display along the walls. The images rattle as Junibee inches closer to the Main Hall. She stops dead in her tracks, a tingle goes down her spine. She turns to a painting of her mentor, Vivi. As she stares at it, the image moves slightly. Not thinking much of it, Junibee turns around and walks towards the doors in front of her.
The doors to the Main Hall swing open. Junibee enters to approach Vivi in front of three '' tablets '' layed out on a wooden table. Vivi pulls the hood from her face.
"Welcome, my dear Junibee.
"The process of ''Enlightenment '' is finally upon us. You will be challenged with three trials in which grants you the ''Tailsman of Transcendence''."
"Shall we begin?"
[[I'm ready.]]Junibee kneels before Vivi in her cermonial outfit. She places a satchel around her waist in which holds a pendant given to her by Vivi, many years ago. Vivi places her hands above the three tablets. They glow of three different colors; brown, green, and red.
"Each tablet will send you into an alternate realm of existence. Proceed through each trial fluently and then we shall commence with the celebration."

Once you have completed all trials. Proceed to the [[Celebration.]] ]Junibee is transported to a land full of grass covered hills. She brushes her fingers through the thick cut shrubs. Majestic animals of all different sizes, flock from within the forest. Above her, the sky darkens and all of the land begins to rot away. A clash of thunder strikes in front of her as a deep voice speaks.
"Grasp ahold of that is lost."
A white-tailed fawn yelps out from the forest, in a cry for help. She limps over to Junibee, and falls to the ground in pain.
[[Help.]]She enters through the front doors of a temple. The walls are made up of gray slated stone and the pillars stand high in the sky. Her feet brush against the floor, leaving an impression. She proceeds through to another room past the wooden benches.

Junibee appears in front of three turbines. They are made up of a cicular fan that pushes the air in the temple, in which brings it to life.
In front of her a sign reads: Place the turbines in the correct order to bring wind flow back to the temple.

[[Hawk, Snake, Mouse.]]Junibee enters into the Fire Realm, where she awakens rested upon a cliff. Below her, molting hot lava pours out into a harderned rock surface in the shape of a bowl. In front of her reads a sign: On the other side of this mountain grants one the escape from enternal flame.

<source src="Assets/Lava.wav"></audio>Junibee leans over the edge to find herself in the face of ultimate death. She treads carefully along the wall as she grips the corner edge of each rock. She comes to a spaced gap, about ten feet in length where she notices a wooden plank leaned against the siding. Junibee has only two options to make it across.
[[Lay plank across]]
[[Jump across]]Junibee glances at the path, to notice two ghastly figures in steel plated armor. She approaches them...
[[Move Forward]]
[[Turn back ->Fire Realm]]She places the wooden plank across the gap. The heat from the lava begin to ignite the board. Junibee hesistates in that moment... She builds up her momentum. As she makes it half-way across, the board snaps. Just in the nick of time, Junibee leaps to the other side. The wooden plank falls into the depths of the lava.
Junibee catches her breath to notice a deep cut under her right arm. As blood drips down her arm, an energy source floats above her.
"You have made it to the final part of this trial. All injuries sustained will be healed."
The energy source lights over Junibee with a purple hue. The cut on her arm magically disappears.
"Step into this energy beacon, it will send you to the last part of the fire trial."
[[Enter Vortex]]She takes several steps back and brushes her hands onto her pants. Junibee takes a deep breath, as she inhales out slowly. She lunges forward and takes a leap of might. Her fingers graze the edge of the rock and she falls.
An evil laugh belts from the distance. As Junibee falls further towards the lava, a mysterious figure flashes by.
Start Over [[Fire Realm]] Junibee proceeds through the vortex, where she comes to a temple covered in moss. The temple fills with song, as men in cloth robes hum a tribunal of many ages.
At the top of the arched roof, rests a fiery '' phoenix ''.

Feed me and I will grow. Cast me aside, I will perish.
[[Water]]
[[Fire]]
[[Me]]Junibee looks up to the phoenix, as it points its wing in the southern direction. She turns her direction to notice a river flowing through the outskirts of town. The phoenix repiles,
"Though when you fill water, it continues to grow. However, this is not the correct answer."
[[Try Again ->Enter Vortex]] The phoenix screeches at Junibee. It pierces her ear drums for a slight moment.
The obvious answer isn't always the correct one.

Junibee is granted with the ''Fire Emblem''. She is teleported back to the Main Hall.
A ghastly figure rests upon the perch as it watches Junibee vanish.

[[Honesty.]]She pushes in the turbines from left to right. The temple rattles and a voice speaks from above. "Incorrect."

She analyzes the code displayed on the banner. The pillars shift into ascending order. A panel protrudes from the ground.

[[Shift pillars.]]Junibee types in the code that she learned from the displayed banner.
An error message appears on the teleprompt: INVALID INPUT.
Shingles from on top of the building fall on to the floor. She is knocked back from the teleprompt by sending as shock signal to her fingertips.

<source src="Assets/error.wav"></audio>Junibee aligns each pillar onto the platforms by using the shift spell she learned from Vivi. She throws her hands up into the air. The slight tingles in her fingers sway back and forth, moving one pillar after another. After each pillar has been aligned, they click into place.
[[Input Code.]]She inputs the code into the keypad. A message appears on the screen: ''PERMISSION GRANTED''.
The pillars shift once again to reveal an underground passageway. The stairs pop up one after another.
Junibee heads down the steps into a dimly lit room with a candle in the center. A breeze brushes along Junibee's face. A voice echo's from the other side.
"Do not fear darkness as light only succumbs the desperation of peril."

"The smell of fear has never been so potent."
[[Casted back ->Wind Realm]]She approaches the mantle and places both hands on each side. Junibee takes a deep breath before blowing out the candle. As she releases, the wind from her breath extinguishes the flame. A gust of wind lifts her into the air.
"Well done, my child. The ''Wind Emblem'' is yours."

<source src="Assets/correct.wav"></audio>The curtains in front of Junibee slide open to reveal a crowd. They cheer for her as Vivi pulls out the ''Tailsman of Transcendence.'' It glows as the light from the glass dome above pierces through.
"You have done well, my dear Junibee."
Vivi places the tailsman around Junibee's neck. As the crowd continues to celebrate, Junibee loses all sense of reality. She is sent into another realm, bringing her back to a town called ''Magnolia.''
[[Flashback.]]

<source src="Assets/fireworks.aiff"></audio>Junibee lifts the injured fawn onto her shoulder. She enters into the forest where a sign reads: A crying mother screams out for what is lost. Proceed with caution.
[[Enter into Dark Forest.]]As Junibee proceeds into the Dark Forest, a giant void is submerged into the ground. The fawn belts a screech as they inch closer to the edge. The foot of Junibee scrapes the gravel as crumbles of rock fall into the abyss. A thick cut vine falls from the branch above her.
The vine is within the grasp of her reach.

[[Reach for Vine.]]
[[Find Another Way.]]Junibee stretches her arm out with the fawn on her shoulder. As she reaches out for the vine, she stumbles forward. She manages to grab ahold of the vine with one hand, but drops the fawn into the abyss.
"Your mission is compromised. There's no easy way out."
She continues to hold on to the vine with all her might and closes her eyes shut.
[[Start Over ->Earth Realm]]She looks over to the left of the vine to notice a mechanism covered in shrub. Junibee wipes away the shrub to notice a lever beneath it.
[[Pull Lever.]]CLICK. Above the vine a wooden bridge falls over the voided gap. Junibee lifts the injured fawn and walks over the newly discovered path. Once across, a magnificent light of holy shines in front of her. A ghostly figured entity appears and says, "It is said that the Earth was created in ''Seven'' days."

"That answer is incorrect."
[[Try Again ->Pull Lever.]]"You have answered correctly. Move forward onto the next path."
The light expands across the land. All of the darkness begins to dissipate as the life of the land is brought back to its' originality.
Junibee steps forward to notice a light shining in the distance. As she inches closer, a group of deer lay rested in the grass. The white-tailed fawn cries out.
Junibee places the fawn gently onto the ground in front of the other deer. The poor fawn is still badly injured. A voice speaks once again. "To heal ones injury, you must release that of which is dear."
She reaches in her satchel to pull out a ruby charm that was given to her as a gift from ''Vivi.''
[[Toss Charm into Abyss.]]The charm falls into the depths of the abyss. A coral light brightens through as it seals the eternal darkness. The light travels into the soul of the fawn, healing all injuries.
"You have done well, Junibee."
The Earth Emblem falls into the hands on Junibee. She is transferred back to the [[Main Hall ->I'm ready.]]

The ghastly entity sources thrust their double sided spears into the ground. The wood on the staff engulfs into flames, turning them rock solid. Junibee presses on their rock solid bodies, unable to move them.
[[Try Again ->Move Forward]]"Honesty is the source of all that holds purpose. You have answered correctly."
The two ghastly figures float away to reveal a vortex. Junibee steps forward.
[[Enter Vortex]] Junibee floats above the town of Magnolia as a group of dark figures in hooded robes pour gasoline around the houses. The town ignites in flames, as many of the citizens dispurse into the woods. Junibee guides her spirit to a young child crying in the woods. A woman appears through the thick of smog.
"Are you lost, little one?"
The woman lifts the hood from her face to reveal her true identity. Underneath the destruction of it all, is no other than, Vivi. Junibee shocked of the discovery, she returns back to her physical body.
[[Back to Main Hall.]]Junibee awakes back into her physical body where Vivi stands above her. She struts backwards as she knocks into a heavily guarded soldier.
"What's wrong, my child?"
Vivi smirks with an evil grimace upon her face. She turns her back towards Junibee. Vivi pulls a switch on the podium to reveal two steel cages with a man and woman trapped inside.
"I was afraid this would happen, you wouldn't understand."
The man and woman stare back at Junibee. They press themselves against the cage as they stuggle to break free. The man shouts, "she's only using you to get what she wants!"
In that moment, Junibee looks back at them to notice a sudden urge of distress in the expression of their faces. They shout out from the cages once again, but before they could speak Vivi lifts her hand towards them.
"Be quiet," Vivi shouts. A sparkle of light leaves from her hands, seals their mouths shut.
"Enough with your lies. Do not believe the deception of these fools."
[[Lunge towards them.]]
[[Attack Vivi.]] As Junibee charges towards the two humans trapped in the cage, Vivi brings her to an abrupt halt with the use of a magic spell. They cry out, "Junibee!"
Vivi grabs Jubibee's tailsman and holds it in her hand.
"Look again, and it will reveal the truth."
Junibee grasps the Talisman of Transcendence between her hands. It speaks to her, "the difference between what is right or wrong, comes down to what you believe in your heart."
She closes her eyes.

[[Reveal Truth.]]
[[Reveal Lie.]]Junibee charges towards Vivi in desperation to land an attack. Vivi dodges instantly, without much effort. Vivi casts a binding spell among Junibee, in which traps her.
"I thought we could've looked past all this..."
Junibee screams out in pain. Her heart has never felt such agony before. She takes a deep breath to open her mind to all that she has learned. The tailsman around her neck glows; she breaks free.
Vivi tries to cast another binding spell. This has no effect on Junibee as she reverses the spell on Vivi. Junibee releases a jolt of electricity through the palms of her hands. The current travels towards the cage and snaps the locks that holds the humans hostage.
The chains wrapped around their ankles and wrists shatter. They crawl out from the doors that once held them captive. The guards lunge towards them, but before they could get close, Junibee flicks her wrist. An electric current scraps along the surface and binds the guards in place. They evaporate, leaving nothing but dust.
Vivi whispers under her breath, "help."
They run towards the exit. Junibee hesitates.
[[Escape.]]
[[Fight.]]Junibee approaches the overlook outside of her room. She stares up at the sky and closes her eyes. The warmth of the sun presses onto her face. She grabs the hair tie from around her wrist and puts her hair into a ponytail.
Inside of the room on the end table rests a photograph of the first day Junibee arrived in Aleste. She lifts the frame and analyzes it.
[[Back in time.]]Vivi holds on to Junibee's hand tightly as they approach the pearl gates of Aleste. Junibee holds close to Vivi's hips, until she notices a group of children playing in the courtyard. Her face lights up with a smile.
"Go ahead, my dear."
Junibee runs off to play with the other children. A tall slender male approaches with a dark robe. Vivi whispers into his ear, "She will be the answer to all our prayers, wait and see."
[[Back to Present Day.]]Junibee places the frame back on to the end table. She rushes out of the door. A beacon of light floats to the balcony of Junibee's room. It then glides over to the picture frame.
"My dear child, the future has not been set in stone... Your time will come, soon enough"
[[Head to Main Hall]] A vision overcomes Junibee as she is shown a glimpse of a young woman holding her infant daughter. She walks her along the shoreline as waves crash at her feet. The young woman places her daughter in the sand. She turns her back for a moment, then a spark of lightning strikes the siding of a mountain. Just as the woman turns back towards her, the rubble from mountain collapses. She weeps hysterically.
Junibee takes a closer look at the weeping young woman. A distinctive trait stands out as the tattoo of a crescent moon rests on her wrist. The young woman is know other than, Vivi.
[[Speak to her.]]Junibee is transferred to a disclosed location. It's dark with only a glimpse of light. Her vision is blurred and the surrounding area is foggy. Three figures in the distance appear to be holding hands. A massive flame ignites between them, seperates the three. A scream of a young girl cries out for help.
Junibee steps closer as her vision becomes clear. The young girl reveals to be her younger self, while the other two figures are her parents. They run off into the woods.
[[Comfort crying girl.]]
[[Chase after parents.]]Junibee and the two unknown humans reach the entrance of an underground tunnel. At the top of a staircase sit a fully funtional rail cart surrounded by boxes of packaged goods. They head up the stairs and remove all the boxes from the cart. Before they could get in, a crash breaks through the entrance.
"Oh, Junibee... You didn't think it would be easy, did you?" Vivi asks.
Through the smog, Vivi floats closer to them. The hooded robe lifts from her face as her piecing ocean blue eyes transform. Bones in her back elongate and the fingertips on her hands stretch. Vivi turns into a beast the no one has ever seen before.
Junibee helps the two strangers into the rail cart and pulls the lever. "This is my battle, we shall meet again in another lifetime," Junibee says.
As Junibee turns her back towards Vivi, she is smacked into the gravel. Vivi's scaly skin drips a corrosive acid on to the ground, burning holes into the surface. Vivi belts a screech, releasing a ferocious roar.
Junibee lifts herself from the ground and jumps back to avoid Vivi's attack. She grips the tailsman between her palms and chants the ancient tongue. Before she could finish, Vivi swings her sharp claws at Junibee, cutting her across the abdomen. Junibee falls to one knee in pain. The blood drips from her stomach.
"I'm sorry it came to this. Before you fade into the abyss, there's something you should know," Vivi says.
Vivi crouches closer to Junibee and whispers, "The two innocent stranglers that you set free were your '' real parents. '' She breaks out in laughter. Junibee lifts her head and grabs the tailsman once more.
"But...Why?" Junibee asks.
"It was quite simple, actually. Use your innocence to my advantage in order to take control of this world," Vivi says.
Junibee returns in laughter. A glimpse of confusion breaks out all over Vivi's face. "You pathetic fool... in the process of it all, you feel right into my trap as well. You see I've known this all along. Now, you're mine for the taking," Junibee says.
[[Shove Tailsman down Vivi's throat.]]Vivi is kneeling before Junibee as she approaches her. Vivi cries out again, "help me."
She looks down at the floor with her palms faced in the gravel. Junibee places her hand on Vivi's shoulder. They both look at each other. Vivi leers at Junibee and says, "If you stay here with me, I will free you from all and reveal the truth."
Junibee stares back at the two strangers as she can sense the fear in their expressions. Just before Junibee could make her final decision, Vivi grabs her by the throat.
"How dare you defy me, after all I've done for you."
Junibee kicks her feet as she struggles to break free. Vivi signals to her soldiers to capture the unarmed civilians, once again. A light overcomes Junibee as the talisman around her neck shines. She rips the talisman from around her neck and throws it to the ground; it shatters.
The surrounding walls of the building shake. Vivi's body dissapates, along with everything in the town. Junibee quickly runs over to the two captives as they rush out from the building. They watch as the whole town of Aleste crumbles away.
The two captives place their hands on Junibee. They speak, "the truth is Junibee, we are your '' parents. ''"
She falls into their arms and weeps. They hold her close in their arms.
''The End''

<source src="Assets/warmending.wav"></audio>Junibee approaches Vivi as she continues to weep. The rage of her loss infuriates her with a rage like no other. Vivi's entire spirit blackens. She turns towards Junibee with no sense of emotion, at first. Her cheeks lift as they lock eyes. She reaches out towards her. "In the light of it all, we hold dear to the people who care for us."
[[Grab her hand.]]Junibee's younger form is balled up with her head rested between her legs as she sobs. Junibee comforts her by placing her arms around, then they both sob, uncontrollable. An image of her parents holding her as an infant, pops into her head. The two join together as one, being a missing path in which hasn't been present her whole life.
[[Open eyes.]]
[[Chase after parents.]] A crying mother yells out for her daughter, "Junibee!, Junibee!"
Junibee's father pulls her away from the engulfing flames that surround the area. He says, "I'm sorry, but there's nothing more we can do."
A spirit in the shape of a majestic figure floats over to them. Feather's of a grand white appear from behind. The spirit speaks, "do not worry, I will take care of your dear daughter."
Junibee reaches out towards them, to try and warn them of the deception. But, it was too late. Her parents disappear before her. The grand white feathers turn to black. The entity stares back at Junibee with piercing red eyes.
[[Open eyes.]]
[[Comfort crying girl.]] When Junibee touches Vivi's hand, she looks back on the history of the Aleste. Everything is put into perspective, as the reason behind Vivi caring for Junibee seemed dear, but there was something she was hiding. Something that Junibee had no idea for her grand purpose.
Vivi cleches on to Junibee with all her might and says, "Without you, we are nothing more than a pile of dust."
[[Open eyes.]]Her eyes open before Vivi. A depth has reached out to her like no other before. The talisman speaks out to her again, reaching her subconscious, "Take everything you've learned to expose the truth within yourself."
Junibee grips the Talisman of Transcendence in between her fingers and presses it against her chest. She lights up the entire room, revealing all those that have lied or cheated. The ones that have lied, turn into dust, whereas the ones who cheated, turn into slime.
Vivi drags herself over to Junibee and says, "I can't believe it ends like this."
Junibee speaks, "Thou shall never be blinded before treacherous foolery... envy of many sins like you, sicken me."
Vivi takes one final gasp of air. They entire town of Aleste evaporates before them, leaving nothing but mold and dirt. Junibee reaches her hand out to her parents and says, "shall we?"

Junibee places the tailsman in her hands and shoves the Tailsman of Transcendence down Vivi's throat. Vivi chokes and begins to transform back to her original state. The walls of the cave crumble on top of her. Junibee steps closer to Vivi as her body evaporates; turning to dust.
"I have been played by my own creation," Vivi says as she completely disappears.
Junibee rushes out from the cave in the matter of seconds with the use of teleportation. She stands on the hilltop that overlooks the city of Aleste. The city crumbles into the ground, leaving nothing but rubble. She turns her back towards the forest as two shadowed figures appear.
"Now is the time to rebuild a better and brighter future," Junibee says.
She turns towards the two figures and smiles at them. "Mother...Father, shall we begin?" Junibee asks?
They reply, "To a new and brighter tomorrow."
